Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) has traditionally acted as (co)publisher and/or issuing body of the following reports:

• Reports on Polar and Marine Research - presents scientific results associated with  AWI's research platforms (e.g. Polarstern expeditions) and associated post-graduate work (e.g. PhD thesis).

• Helgoland Marine Research - journal on the biology of marine and brackish water organism sponsored by AWI and published by Springer.
